Tips
- For a PCR or qPCR master mix, set the original batch to 1 reaction and the target to your number of reactions (add 1–2 extra for pipetting loss).
- For dilutions of a stock to a final concentration, the C1V1 = C2V2 relationship is usually more convenient than scaling.
- Scaling assumes everything scales linearly — double-check pH and any “to volume” (q.s.) steps.
